A modern residential complex featuring progressive European architecture and a distinctive, sculpted facade design. The project stands out due to its complex exterior geometry, the realization of which demanded non-standard engineering calculations and the comprehensive implementation of advanced KMD facade systems.
Applied KMD Solutions:
Translucent Facades: Integrated glazing for the property was executed using the KMD.F50 stick curtain wall system, seamlessly incorporating warm windows from the KMD.70 series. Standalone window units across the complex were also completed with the reliable, thermally insulated KMD.70 system (which has now been upgraded to the newer KMD.78 generation).
Ventilated Facade (Rain-Screen): Large-format slim porcelain tiles were selected for the exterior walls, mounted onto the classic KMD.VF aluminum substructure using rivet fastening. The key engineering solution involved designing extensive substructure projections on the window reveals using a special swiveling extension bracket. This successfully shaped deep, pronounced architectural 3D angles around the window openings.
