The KMD.VF curtain wall system for HPL panels combines modern installation techniques, high aesthetic appeal, and functionality. It enables the realization of complex architectural solutions through three mounting options, each adapted to various needs and operating conditions.
1. Rivet Fixing
HPL panels are attached to profiles using pull rivets with wide flanges, which can be painted to match the panel color. This ensures the reliability and longevity of the structure. To ensure proper installation, it is essential to follow the correct sequence for fixing installation and account for thermal expansion of materials. The system uses a wide T-shaped profile to evenly distribute the load, as well as an L-shaped profile in areas of connection.
2. Adhesive Fixing
This method helps maintain the aesthetic integrity of the façade with a hidden installation. Panels are attached to profiles using a specialized adhesive system that compensates for the material’s linear expansion. The installation process involves cleaning, degreasing, and priming the surfaces before applying the adhesive. The resulting bond remains elastic, providing a long-lasting solution for the façade.
3. Agraph Profile Fixing (TUF-S)
This is the most functional method, providing hidden attachment of panels. Agraphs are fixed to the main structure, creating a secondary contour. This method allows for easy disassembly of individual panels for maintenance or replacement. The attachment is made using anchors, ensuring high reliability and protection against accidental loosening.
Each of these methods offers flexibility, allowing for the creation of modern, high-performance façades.
