Private house

The facing and additional insulation of this frame wooden house utilized Japanese panels, which provided both aesthetic appeal and enhanced functionality. The panels added a layer of sound insulation, helping to improve acoustic comfort within the building. Additionally, they made the exterior non-flammable, offering increased fire safety. This combination of features contributed to the house’s durability and energy efficiency, ensuring both protection and comfort for its occupants.

This project for a private house is quite unique in its approach. It uses standard-sized porcelain stoneware for the facade, which not only adds a sleek and modern look but also incorporates visible fastening with clamps that were left unpainted, creating a raw, industrial aesthetic. The house is designed as a passive house, with a 200mm insulation layer to ensure excellent thermal efficiency. This level of insulation contributes significantly to energy savings and comfort, while the design also improves the building’s durability and aesthetic quality, making it a perfect example of modern, sustainable architecture.
